Macrom is an established brand in the European scene of car audio. The company was founded more than thirty years ago as a brand of high-level car speakers. In its long history, Macrom has been leading the market with the design of some products that have deeply innovated the car stereo market.Over the years Macrom has continuously expanded its product range with the introduction of amplifiers and accessories. Since 2000 Macrom has dedicated a lot of attention and investment in the development of an innovative line of multimedia products. Today Macrom is distributed by Aldinet in more 'than 30 countries and provides a complete product range for the automotive entertainment. |

Macrom brand was first registered in Germany in 1983, at that time the market was not well delineated; there was no clear division between hi-end products and the rest. The aim of Macrom's founders was simply to have a brand name dedicated to the true audiophiles. Initially there was only a limited number of products (4 series of speakers) distributed in just a few European countries. |

In 1989 a new group of investors created Macrom Ltd, with operations offices in Switzerland. The brand was purchased by the new company with the aim of developing the world-wide market. This was the turning point: in the following years Macrom expanded distribution to all European and Far Eastern Countries and enlarged the product range with the addition of speakers and amplifiers that became real milestones for the industry. |

In 1999 the company became Macrom SA, maintaining the operation offices in Switzerland. Since then the Company has continued to expand its activities in a number of directions, the logo and general image were changed to reflect the new Company trend and to prepare for new challenges. Major investments have led to a significant expansion in terms of product lines, distribution network, logistics and customer service.

In 2005, Macrom S.A. appointed Aldinet S.p.A. for development and distribution of products. Thanks to this important partnership Macrom became stronger and increased it's coverage of the market. |
