How often people is complaining about the audio and multimedia market? Yes, all markets are hard in this period, but the experience teach that there is always a growing space for Companies that work in a professional way, deeply believe in what they do, and invest in their own capability and image.
An example? In September 29th there was the grand opening of the new "Zanetti HiFi" shop, in Bergamo, Italy.
Probably the nicest audio shop in Europe (at least the nicest we have seen up to now!).

Nice event in Belgium, at the Media Markt shop in Charleroi: a funny-old-type Fiat 500 with a cutted roof, fully tuned and equipped with Macrom products was presented in the middle of the "car sector", to catch the attention on our brand and products.
Inside and, as you can see, also outside of the car there were different Macrom models

Our Japanese friends from M S-LINE decided to organize a car audio competition to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Macrom.
In spite of the rain, it was a very good event: 43 cars in competition, divided into 4 categories

Important news in Spain: Stil-Son, our Spanish distributor, moved the headquarter of his activity to a totally new building, owned by themselves, and ready for the new developments of the Company.
A modern and efficient building, large space for warehousing, beautiful offices and meeting rooms, a nice and easy-to-reach location outside Valencia: not only pleasure of working has now improved, but also efficiency and image.

Sinsheim show, the most important Car Audio event and meeting point in the world, happened this year between April 10th and April 13th.
And Macrom was there again, in a larger-than-ever booth, and with many new interesting products.

Again, Macrom was present at the 2008 edition of the largest car Audio show in Italy.
The space we took was larger than ever, and the booth was built with the same style of Sinsheim one.
Two nice cars (our new Fiat 500, the most trendy vehicle today in Italy and the demo Suzuki Swift, with a system made for the youngest customers) and two nice girls (you can see them on the pictures) were the “centre of attraction” for the visitors.

From Juy 20th to 22nd there was the grand opening of the new Norauto store in Lodz, and Macrom distributor in poland (Intergraf Trading) took this occasion to introduce the new audio and video products, as well as the portable navigation.
We must say that he found out a great way to get attention from the visitors…. (of course we are talking about the beauty of nature).

The largest event for the Italian Car Audio and Tuning market happened mid of April in Rimini, the "My Special Car" show, and Macrom took this occasion to show his strenght and new projects to the Italian market.
There were 2 Macrom areas:
- the booth, showing all new products in a nice environment and introducing the first generation of Macrom Navigation line
- the Macrom meeting area, where many Macrom fans came with their fantastic cars, and enjoied the great attention they got from the (...)

On February 3rd, 4th and 5th our Spanish Distributor was present at the Motor Tuning Show (MSF 07) in Zaragoza, the nice city in the north of Spain.
The presence was fully dedicated to Macrom and a special attention was dedicated to the new EXTREME AMPLIFIER, at his first official presentation in Europe with his final look.
We are sure this is the first of a long series of events that will have EXT amp as real protagonist.

On December 12th there was a great event in Kuala Lumpur. A great conference was organized by Macrom Distributor in Singapore and Malaysia, PRO ICE, to introduce the new product lines.
The fantastic Cyberview Resort was the perfect environment to host the group of more than 60 dealers... nice to talk about speakers and amplifiers being surrounded by palms, swimming pools and unbelievable gardens.

Our Chinese friends are continuously surprising us. This year, a special event was organized for the best dealers, a trip to Huangshan, the yellow mountainA 5-days trip, named "culture sense", in the middle of the origin of Chinese Culture, surrounded by an extraordinary landscape made by rocks, pines and cloudsWe had very nice moments, enjoyning such a magic environment, great food, and the pleasent atmosphere of macrom friends.

No doubts that Double-Din headunit is one of the actual trends of the market. And no doubts that Macrom, with M-DVD5550R, was one of the very first brand to introduce this type of product, having as a result a tremendous interest by the press and all market actors.

Some months ago, on this “news page” we published an article about a test, made by the German magazine Car&HiFi, where M2A.290 was the winner in front of all its competitors. And now, after some months, a new test appeared on the same magazine the test was concentrated on 4-channels amplifiers and... {{Macrom M2A.490}} was the winner!!! Athens - Greece
One of the odlest MACROM distributor, Auto Sound (Greece), just moved in a new building.
The new offices are in a nice building in the middle of Athens, divided on two floors: at the ground floor there are entrance, salesmen offices, and a large space for presentation and meetings.
At the upper floor, there are the managers offices, the accounting and the meeting room.
All decorated with nice furnitures and with a friendly atmosphere.

Test in Car&Hifi magazine - Germany
The M2A.290 as just been tested in Car & Hifi, the German high-end test magazine. And guess what ? the most simple and unexpensive MACROM amp in the new line just finished 1st, in front of all the competitors. Very good result ! But this is only our entry level amp ! Try to imagine how the others perform. It is a unmerciful world ! It is hard for the competitors... We know... :)

Rho-Delta ACP BV , the Dutch MACROM distributor, was present with a MACROM booth at the largest car-tuning event in the Netherlands: 100% Tuning , which took place 15/16 October at AHOY expo-centre in Rotterdam.
More than 50.000 people visited this event, and a lot of them also visited the MACROM booth.

The new M-DVD801RV is now available. This is maybe the best choice to get video in your car at the back seats. You only need to power it, no other cable, the DVD player is incorporated, the infra red emiters are also incorporated. Installation is very simple.
Picture quality is the best you can get as the monitor is located in the darker part of the car. No direct sun on it !
And on top, with only one monitor, all the passengers are able to watch the screen du to the position.

50 dealers from all over the Country where invited for a technical and commercial training. Products, characteristics, ways of installation, sales arguments: all these parts have been introduced and discussed during 5-days-long meeting!

Sinsheim (Germany) - Car Show
As usual, we were present at the 2005 Sinshiem CarShow in Germany. During four days, the show goes on. The 3 demonstration cars we used were Extreme-ly successful . Many thanks to all the drivers ! The 2004 European Champions came from Finland for example.

Rho-Delta Automotive & Consumer Products BV has organised two evenings with a fantastic MACROM show for the leading Dutch Car-Entertainment Shops at Villa California, the home base of the Dutch Distributor in Barendrecht/Rotterdam.
They recieved their dealers with a warm buffet, after that the dealers attended the
"Macrom Product Presentation 2005" with all the MACROM news from Sinsheim, and at the end we all came together for a drink in the "Off-Line Bar" the in-house bar/club of Villa California .

The new power kit by MACROM is something special ! But what can be special in a simple power kit ?? In fact, the Macrom power kit makes nothing like the others :
1. The 20mm2 power cable can be Red or Black (!?) At MACROM we hate the yellow, red or blue cables. We spend so much energy to make stuff clean, why should we accept an ugly power cable ?
2. The new RAC cable is perfect ! Thick cable, triple protection, remote cable, nice colour, easy to install and the most important, high quality metal plugs

The show was in Kansas City USA. James took the World tropy in Basic Pro 0-600W and "Best Car of the Show". This is more than a Fanatic ! He has put on over 100,000 KM in this car this year alone and as he describes his style of listening as “beats the hell out of these speakers everyday” words he has used is “bullet proof” to describes the M1 Macrom amps. It's a daily driver that can drive over 24 hours straight (that was his travel time from Calgary AB to Kansas City (KS) have a quick cleaning and (...)

Italian dealers travelling to Cuba !
After one year with the pleasure of selling Macrom products... the best
Italian dealers finally reached an additional pleasure: one week in Cuba.
Nice beaches, great cigars, mohitos, great lobsters, salsa and... and...
and... don't ask us what else... you should ask to those that never appeared
in the pictures because they were always out enjoining Cuban athmosphere.

Budapest - Hungary
The Rautama brothers came to Budapest for the 2004 EMMA final. And theiy went back to Finland with all the trophies ! Good Job !
First : they took the 2cd place in Multi Media Profi with the highest score in sound and one of the highest score in picture.
Second : they took the 1st place in SPL PROFI 8 WOOFERS with the highest score in SPL. As you can imagine this category (professional, with large number of woofers, is one of the most difficult and important).

Great Wall - China
Probably, when Shi Huang Ti, the first emperor of the TS'in dinasty decided to begin the costruction of the Chinese Great Wall, he couldn't imagine that in 2004 a big Macrom flag is fluttering on top of this marvellous construction....
This has happened some weeks ago, when "GuangZhou Cheyuansu Car Audio Company Ltd", our Chinese distributor, organized a road show on the Great Wall.
A fantastic way for the brand promotion! Congratulation by all Macrom team!

of IASCA USA made the trip.
Macrom took the 1st place with this very nice VW Polo equiped with the naw M1 subwwofer and speakers.

Exhibition at Villa California - A different way to organize a show
On May 10-13, our distributor in Holland, Rho Delta, organized an exhibition inside his new premises.
All brands distributed by our Dutch friends were properly displayed in a nice and classy environment. Wow, so different from a typically-noisy Car audio show!
All major dealers in Holland, have been welcome at the beautiful "Villa California" building, the headquarter or Rho Delta: they have been able to see all new products and to discuss in a (...)

Sinsheim - Germany
The larger Car Audio show on earth, even larger than the CES. The 2004 edition was a great success... 3 days of non stop visits !
Our 120m2 booth was in the all #2, the mos visted one. Every visitor came and turned around the impressive and original Beetle made by FREESOUND in Viareggio (ITALY). The second demo vehicle, an A3, was exceptional in SQ and finition !
Lots of new products were presented : 3 new lcd televisions, the new caraudio screens,
the new 10" roof monitor, the new head units... very intresting...

November 1 & 2 - IASCA 2003 European final in PADOVA (Italy)
For his fisrt participation, David did an incredible result at the IASCA Final ! He simple took the second place in the most popular class. After some tuning problems and a bad ATR curve, he's realy happy with his trophy. David is only 20 points form the very well known winner.
David's Audi A3 sound pretty well with the MACROM Extreme Speakers. He choosed the EXT4.0 for the dash speakers and a pair of EXT6.0mw for the kicks in the doors. It seems to be the right choice !

Padova - Italy
For the second time, the IASCA European final took place in Padova in Italy, 20 km from Venice.
The Macrom team exibited the complete new line with a fantastic demo vehicule everyone came to see (see gallery below).
Congratulation to Christian from FREESOUND in Viareggio. He made an in credible job on the car in less than two weeks. Good job Christian ! And thanks a lot...

Hi-Chaparral - Sweeden
The conference was in the Hi-Chaparral, in a forest 200 km far from Gotheborg. This place is a big recostruction of a Far West village (as you can see in the pictures): saloon, train, bandits, marschall office, pony express, indians and all these funny things. People inside was dressed as cow boys, food and drinks were far west style. The conference was 2 days long, and Macrom introduced his new catalogue and all new products. For us, these are the most beautiful speakers ever made by Macrom. The new M1 is an EXT son. Same aluminum basket, same mechanical structure, same chrome phase plug, same rubber suspension, same original xover with poly caps and air coils, same tweeter in 25mm (32 on the EXT).
Acoustically speaking, they are more "powerful sounding" than the EXT, more on line with modern music. The bass section is amazing with no less than 160W max power.

The team took part to the Elice match race on the 13 of August in the area of "bocche di bonifacio" in Sardegna. The team took the second place! Thanks to the team and to the Macrom good music that was on the boat. Cool...

This year, the IASCA European final took place in Padova Italy. On November 4th, David became the new Ultimate +600W champion. The King category. And this was not enough; in the same time he took the "best car of the show" trophy! Wohhh. Congratulations are not enough.
David uses MACROM speakers. The tweeters are 57.13. The mids, on the dash, are 59.10. And the woofers are the woofers from the SE2.60 kit.
The sound quality achieved by David is, sure you can imagine, close to the very high-end systems in home hifi! This (...)
